Players wanting to join =ABC= should all read and follow these guidelines. Part 7: Joining ABC Clause 1: Any player who wants to become a member of ABC must be active in the servers for a period longer than 30 days. During this time they will be encouraged to join other members on Ventrillo and make posts in the ABC forums. This is so the members can get to know the player, and the player can get to know us. Clause 2: A formal application must be made and submitted to the clan via the forums. The application form will be made available. Once the application has been submitted, a background check will be done by a Recruitment team member on the player's GUID to check for previous bans or other issues that may be indicative of past undesirable behavior. In the event that negative information is found, the player will have an opportunity to refute the evidence or explain circumstances surrounding the event(s) in question. This will be done in the form of a meeting held with the player and no less than one Senior Admin and 2 Recruitment team members. After the meeting is held, the Senior Admins and Recruitment team will vote on whether to pass the application on to clan vote, or to deny the application based on the evidence at hand. If no negative information is discovered, the application will be passed down for clan vote. Clause 3: Players wanting to join the clan must have no less than 2 sponsors. Any ABC member can be asked to be a sponsor by a prospective member. These sponsors will have the responsibility of educating the player on what is expected of ABC members, and ABC policies and procedures. Sponsorships should be considered carefully since the player?s name will be associated with his or her sponsors. If a player does not obtain enough votes for membership, this is not to be looked at negatively towards the sponsors in any way. Clause 4: The voting process will take place on Ventrilo. The player's application and a report of the player's GUID check will be discussed for all to consider. A recruitment team member or player's sponsor may nominate the player for vote. For a player to be voted in, a minimum of 15 yes votes must be obtained. During the application process, the player will NOT be informed by ANY member of his or her current status. This will prevent the opportunity for a player to attempt to bribe their way into the clan through any means. Clause 5: If the vote passes, the player will be notified by the Recruitment team that he or she is now a part of ABC. A copy of the clan by-laws and site and server usage rules will be emailed. The new member must reply to the email stating that they have read and agree to abide by both items. This reply email will be kept for reference by the Senior Admins. As soon as humanly possible, the site and Ventrilo servers will be updated by the ADMINS to reflect the players status. Clause 6: If the vote fails, the player will continue to be permitted on the site and servers. A vote may be held again after 30 days to repeat the above mentioned voting process.
